The Social Environmental Agency (SEA) is a national non-profit and non-political organization established in 2017 by Somali intellectuals to address the needs of Internally Displaced Persons (lDPs). returners. and vulnerable host communities in Somalia, particularly in Jubaland. South West State, and Banaadir Region. SEA operates its headquarters in Kismayo with sub-branch offices in Mogadishu. Baidoa. and Afmadow.

SEA’s interventions encompass various sectors including: Food Security and Livelihoods, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Health, Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) issues, enabling effective engagement with communities. governments, donors, and project implementation.

Scope of Work:

SEA in partnership with the GIZ is seeking to procure a service provider for the above subject line.

• Vehicles rental services for 1 year and 6 months.
• Vehicle should be supplied with fuel by the service provider All the time.
• The vehicles to be parked at the SEA office at Kismayo for the duration under contract.
• Service provider should provide full transports service inclusive of qualified driver.

     Vehicle Hire Specification

1. Vehicle type specification: Toyota Landcruiser Surf 2015
2. Vehicle availability: 5 days in a week sometime during emergency 7 days
3. Vehicle registration: vehicles must be roadworthy and meet Jubaland state of Somalia registration requirement.
4. Emergency coverage: immediate response for vehicle replacement in case of breakdown of accidents.
5. Standard: The vehicle must be up to highest and maintained regularly and equipped with AC.

Bidder should meet the following requirements:

• Submit dully filled Request for Quotation (RFQ) by CB 20^th October 2024.
• Quotation/bid deadline date: 20^th October 2024
• Date vehicle required: 1 November 2024
• The company should have at least 3 years’ experience in providing similar services.
• The service provider will be responsible for its vehicle’s maintenance and cleaning services.
• Good mileage to reduce operational cost, especially for long distance.
• Low maintenance needs and a strong track record for dependability.
• Vehicle should have valid commercial license.
• Should have certificate and tax compliance.
• Should have safety features such as airbag and seat belts.

How to apply

Interested Vendors are required to submit their RFQ in sealed envelopes (is summiting physically) marked “S EA/KIS/001/2024 — Vehicle Hire” to SEA main office, located in Kismayo off port road, opposite JUCRI or submit through email. The interested vendors can retrieve the RFQ documents from SEA main office or can request through procurement@seasom.org 

The deadline for the submission of quoted RFQ is by close of business 5pm on 20/10/2024 Late RF’Q will not be accepted.
